The Yu-Gi-Oh 15 Word Project

Get Your Game On!

♥ Write a fifteen-word microfic about anything in the Yu-Gi-Oh world. This includes DM, GX, and 5Ds.
♥ Post it.
♥ Write as many as you want and post them all.
♥ Comment on other people's sentences.
♥ Make sure to specify which series you're working with, and please rate your sentence for potentially inappropriate/offensive content.
♥ Anything goes--any pairing, any concept, anything.
♥ Have fun!

This idea was shamelessly stolen from lazyotter, when she hosted it for the Death Note fandom.

Warning[s]: Two of the sentences talk about unsatisfying sex. There are also mentions of character death.
Notes: I finally finished my claim at 1sentence, and here it is! This is my interpretation of Shou and Judai's relationship, should they end up having a romantic one. I tried to have a good mix of cheerful fun and miserable sadness. This spans their entire relationship, from the early days of Season 1 to their lives once they've been separated.

When Shou tells Judai that he is the moon to his sun, and that he will revolve around him forever, it doesn't even occur to Judai to remind him that the moon revolves around the Earth.Collapse )

A few people have asked me how I make the chocolate I've been making recently. It's an incredibly simple and versatile recipe, which yields delicious results, so I'll post it here for you all. Feel free to try it!

Ingredients and Tools

1 bag of chocolate chips. I usually use Ghirardelli milk chocolate, but any variety is fine.
1 cup of a filling of your choice. For this example we will use pretzels, but you can use literally anything you can think of. In addition to pretzels, I've made this with candy cane, and walnuts and cinnamon.
1 mold and/or ice cube tray. I use an ice cube tray which has a hexagon shape at the bottom. This makes the chocolates look like actual candies instead of like ice cubes.
2 bowls
1 microwave and/or a double boiler saucepan
1 spoon

How To Make

Phase One: Begin breaking your ingredients into small pieces. I said to use a cup, but it's up to you to determine how many pretzel bits you want in your chocolate. A cup is a good guidepost. Break them into the first bowl.

Phase Two: Pour the chocolate chips into the second bowl. The easiest way to melt it is to use a microwave. I've found that this doesn't affect the flavor much at all. If you do this, you should only do it for thirty seconds at a time, to avoid burning it. If you decide to use a double boiler, fill the bottom saucepan with water, and put it on a low heat. Once the water is hot, but not boiling, place the chocolate chips in, and stir. Either way, you're finished when the chocolate is smooth and you no longer see the outline of the chips.

Phase Three: Combine the pretzels with the chocolate, and stir until it is evenly distributed. You may want to mix in the salt at the bottom of the bag. This isn't healthy, but it's delicious

Phase Four: Use your spoon to pour the chocolate mixture into your mold. Smooth out the top with the bottom of the spoon, once you're finished.

Phase Five: Place a covering of some kind over your mold. It may come with one, but if it doesn't you can use saran wrap or even tin foil. You just want to make sure your chocolate isn't exposed. After you do this, place the chocolate in the fridge. After approximately four hours, you should have a lovely batch of chocolate. Cooling time may vary, so it's best to do this the night before you plan to eat or gift the chocolate, so you can be sure that it will be ready on time.

This a Yubel FST, which was requested by cheeky_eyes, at this meme. This is the first GX fanmix I've made, so here's hoping it turns out okay. Anyway, all files are on Mediafire, and most of them are .mp3. Enjoy, and please let me know what you think.

Comment with the name of a character, pairing, etc in one of my fandoms. I'll post you an "instant" mini-fanmix: a cover and 3-5 songs that remind me of that character/pairing/show/etc. I'll upload the songs and everything.

I decided to do this meme again, since it was great fun last time, and I have a whole new fandom to muck around with. So, if you want me to make a special fanmix just for you, make your request here. To see what I've already done, go to this tag.

You can choose from the following fandoms: Death Note, Fruits Basket, Digimon 01 & 02, any of my original works, Yu-Gi-Oh GX, and anything else that you know I know. Since GX is my current obsession, I would prefer that you ask for GX characters, but I know it's not everyone's thing. I can't guarantee being able to take every request, but I'll do what I can!

Hi guys! This is my first AMV in nearly three years. Cinderbitch, the computer I had before Atticus (my current laptop) did not allow me to make AMVs, and it took me a while after getting the new computer to motivate myself. But I finally did it! This is set (mostly) in Season 2 of Yu-Gi-Oh GX, and it's about Saiou and Ed and the Society of Light and whatnot. The song is Fate by Maaya Sakamoto. Please check it out and let me know what you think!

For the first time ever, here's a post with two separate themes! Here we have nine icons from this picture, with Shou Marufuji in varying emotional states. After that we have a bunch of organs, all of which come from DeviantArt. The artists are credited in the save file name.

Credit mycobacterial for healthy organ function!

Notes: This is my post for 20_kuribohs, which means it's a 20 Facts story, kind of like the ones I wrote about Sachiko and Mikami back in the day. This time I'm using a character from Yu-Gi-Oh GX, Marufuji Shou. This is written as the story of his life, spanning from childhood to marriage and kids, from feeling inferior to Ryo to taking care of him in the hospital, from unashamedly adoring Judai to not being sure if he should ever speak to him again. Enjoy, and please let me know what you think. Be warned, this contains spoilers for the whole series!

Also, I'm sorry for using a song lyric for the title. I just felt that it had to be done. This is not a songfic.

I'll be making an update about my actual life presently, but for now, here's another batch of icons. ugly_kitties linked me to Hirsute History, a website that takes famous people from history (and wrestlers) and make beautiful hair-focused silhouettes out of them, which go on t-shirts. I've posted these on my icon community mycobacterial, but I'm spamming y'all with it since as yet I've got no damn clue where to advertise.

Also, those of you who make icons--do you have any idea how to make text clearer? I have some text-based images but when I resize they look grainy and crappy, and I'm not sure what to do about it. If anyone has any experience with this sort of thing and would like to help, I would be more than happy to be less vague about the issue later.

Anyway, onward! Here are the icons!

Hi guys! As I've mentioned before, I recently decided to take up making icons. I recently made 54 Yu-Gi-Oh GX icons, which are the second post on my new icon journal, mycobacterial. They're made from a combination of screen shots and art I found of DeviantArt. Those from DeviantArt have the artist's names credited in the save file. If you want to have a peek and tell me what you think, I'd be thrilled. If anyone wants to use one, please credit myself, the artist, or both.

Also, my older fandoms will be getting some icon love as well. I guarantee Death Note, Fruits Basket, and Digimon icons in the near future.
